The soundbar uses 22 array speakers controlled by Yamaha's YSP technology to produce sharp beams for extremely high quality surround sound. Two powerful 6.5cm woofer units in the large cabinet also help to improve sound quality. The aluminium body dampens unwanted vibrations. The result is a sound field filled with presence for a superior surround sound feeling and outstanding imaging.
The subwoofer has a large 16cm driver and uses Yamaha's exclusive Advanced YST technology to produce clear, powerful bass. The circuit board has an ideal grounding pattern that ensures stable current supply. The Linear Port improves sound dispersion and is designed to minimise unnecessary noise. Both music and movie sound effects are reproduced with an astounding sense of presence.
The optional YIT-W12 Wireless Transmitter, used with the YSP-4300, lets you enjoy music wirelessly from your iPod/iPhone/iPad or Mac/PC. Yamaha-developed AirWired technology provides uncompressed linear PCM transmission for consistently clear, accurate sound output.
The YSP-4300 achieves true (not virtual) surround sound by producing beams of sound and using advanced processing to control their directions. You hear perfectly realized 7.1-channel surround sound with natural ambience and optimum imaging. Yamaha technology also provides the additional benefits of a wide "sweet-spot" listening area and the elimination of listening fatigue.
The YSP-4300 achieves true surround sound by directing sound beams off the walls to reach the listener from various angles. The main mode is 5 BeamPlus2 for 7-channel sources. In addition, there is a wide variety of other listening modes. You can select 3 BeamPlus2 + Stereo, 5 Beam,Stereo + 3 Beam, 3 Beam, Stereo, Target mode and My Surround.
The YSP-4300 decodes HD Audio signals to ensure that you hear the best possible sound from Blu-ray Disc players, as well as from all other digital sources.
Yamaha’s ultra-sophisticated CINEMA DSP technology creates thrillingly realistic soundscapes in any room. You can select 10 different programmes, including three Movie, three Music and four Entertainment programmes.
This Yamaha exclusive feature ensures optimum multichannel sound reproduction with accurate image location. By monitoring and analysing the sound with the microphone included with the YSP-4300, IntelliBeam automatically sets the best beam angles, while optimising the level and frequency response of each beam. This makes initial setup both extremely simple and acoustically perfect.
Four HDMI inputs mean you can connect four high quality digital sources, each with just a single cable. Two additional HDMI benefits are 4K Passthrough, which allows the transmission of nextgeneration super high resolution images, and 3D, for the transmission of 3D video.
When music is encoded into a digitally compressed format like MP3, the frequency response suffers. This function restores what was lost, so your music always sounds the way it should.

Only 86mm high, the YSP-4300 can easily be placed in front of your TV without blocking the screen. The height can be adjusted in two levels by adding the spacers. It is also wall mountable (brackets optionally available).
The top surface of the soundbar is made of aluminium with superior stiffness, high texture and a hairline finish, for a look that is stylish and imparts a strong feel of luxury. The sides have a mirror finish that harmonises beautifully with the TV. Available in either black and silver, so you can choose the color that best matches your TV.
The subwoofer eliminates the need to connect cables, so setup and placement are faster and easier. The fact that it can be used in either a horizontal or a vertical position provides additional flexibility. This is a convenient subwoofer that delivers powerful, high quality bass sound.
A USB terminal on the front panel makes it quick and easy to plug in your iPod, iPhone or iPad to enjoy stored music. The digital connection ensures that there is no data loss, maintaining optimum sound quality. When connected, the iPod, iPhone or iPad will charge even when the YSP-4300 is in standby mode.

When connected to a CEC-compatible TV, such as a Panasonic VIERA Link TV, the YSP-4300 will turn on and off together with the TV, and you can use the TV remote unit to control the volume. CEC also provides advanced functionality with other components.
Even if the YSP-4300 blocks the TV’s remote control signal, the TV Remote Repeater on the back transmits the signal to the TV so operation is not affected.
