The Tannoy VS15 HL is a horn loaded woofer with very high output capability designed to provide maximum low frequency impact in conjunction with Tannoy V Series loudspeakers. The tight and “punchy” sound of the VS15 HL adds depth and dramatic impact for a wide variety of sound reinforcement applications. This powerful loudspeaker is capable of delivering high sound pressure levels with extremely low distortion and power compression while maintaining a uniform frequency response throughout its dynamic range. The Tannoy VS15 HL consists of one high efficiency 380mm (15”) / 76mm (3”) voice coil drive unit. The cabinet, available in black or white, is constructed from 18mm (5/8”) multi-ply hardwood to survive the punishment that speaker systems are subjected to on the road and in club installations. The compact dimensions of the Tannoy VS15 HL enables it to be used in permanent or portable applications without being obtrusive. The VS15 HL comes complete with recessed carrying handles for ease of transportation, 10mm flying points to provide a quick and secure flying system, and a blanking plate for optional VTH pole mount. Tripods can therefore be eliminated by connecting V Series subwoofers and V Series Dual Concentric™ loudspeakers by ordering the Tannoy VTH top hat mounting hardware.
