The TURBOSOUND NuQ PRO NuQ118B is a 2,400 Watt single 18" bandpass subwoofer enclosure designed for use in a wide range of portable speech and music sound reinforcement applications. The NuQ118B is designed to work in conjunction with TURBOSOUND loudspeaker management systems, providing the optimum performance as well as offering considerable flexibility to readily adapt to varying venue requirements.
The NuQ118B features a double suspension 18" low frequency driver with inside/outside wound coil in a bandpass enclosure optimally tuned for extended low frequency response. The cabinet is constructed from 18 mm (3/4") birch plywood and is finished in durable black semi matt textured paint; white textured paint is optionally available. Heavy duty interlocking corner protectors are fitted to enable stable ground stacks, and recessed flush handles are provided for easy lifting and carrying.
An integral pole mount socket is fitted to the top of the enclosure to allow two-way cabinets to be mounted at the correct height above the subwoofer. Internal M10 rigging points are fitted on the sides, top and bottom to enable rigging in fixed installations. A rear panel connector plate carries two Neutrik speakON* NL4 connectors for input and link connections to additional enclosures. The NuQ118B can be fitted with optional heavy duty wheels to aid transportation.
